Join the South African First Aid League as a volunteer! 

SAFAL is a non-profit organization with volunteers throughout the country. We rely on our members to:

• deliver welfare and other services during disasters and/or other emergency situations
• show neighborly love by serving fellow man in all health matters
• cultivate a spirit of self sacrifice and service to others within as well as outside SAFAL
• promote the health of humanity by distribution of knowledge and the creation of health awareness
• perform, undertake, promote and support anything in relation to health and to take any precaution with regard to health

As a member of the organisation, you get your first aid training for free. In order to gain experience and expand your knowledge, it is essential to do first aid duties at sporting and recreational events.

There are also annual first aid competitions and numerous social events which are great fun. SAFAL provides a safe social environment for all South Africans.

You can become a member of the organisation by joining a branch. This involves the completion of a registration form, payment of the annual membership fee and the purchase of a first aid manual.
